My trip to KC was a really good; I am now back home on the East coast. I look at what the Lord has done in my heart over the last two weeks. It is great! I had such a refreshing and renewing time in the prayer room. God showed me a lot about this next season I am entering into. It is so nice to get clarity from the Lord when we have questions. God is so good; I stand in awe of all that he is doing in the earth right now.
Since my trip I have been pondering how much we as humans are quick to bring accusation towards others. It is amazing how fast our voice can turn from the one who blesses, to one who curses. I had a connecting flight from the airport in Kansas City, MO to Washington D.C.; While in D.C. I had a short layover before my flight to North Carolina. So I had some time to kill in the Dulles airport. The Dulles airport has quite a variety of different shops, stands, and restaurants. Among these were places that sold American and political souvenirs. I found the climate very different in Washington from what it was a little over a year before, when I had visited D.C. for a couple days in October of 2008 to attend The Call. At that time every souvenir stand was filled with, you guessed it, products promoting Obama. This time on my pass through D.C., though short it was very different. Every t-shirt and mug had statements like “Don’t blame me, I voted for McCain.” It is amazing how quickly the predominant voice can shift in a culture. Though there are many areas that I strongly disagree with our President on Obama. I don’t ever want to become the mouth of the accuser. But one who blesses, and if ever judges, be one who judges righteously and with mercy in mind. My heart burns for this.
Starting on January first IHOP-KC will now be web streaming its prayer room feed LIVE for FREE. Go check it out.

As I write this I am sitting in the living room of the house I am staying in while in KC, MO. The Onething ‘09 conference was absolutely amazing! I was touched by the Holy Spirit in a mighty way nearly every session. The Lord IS good. We live in an hour that is critical in my nations history. God is on the move and we must be apart of it. I saw thousands of people over the week get touched by the Holy Spirit. Many got touched with the Joy of the Lord for the first time, experiencing the Love of Father. It is amazing to see people get impacted by the Lord, many for the first time, and so many in one room. It was truly a great conference. I encourage to head over to IHOPs website and watch the Onething video archives.

I am starting up Watching and Waiting again, yes I have said that before, but this time I am actually inspired to write! A lot has changed in my heart over the last couple months since my last post. I am still serving at the local church I am a part of and loving it. Things are really moving forward there and I am beginning to see the Holy Spirit move on hearts and change things in the atmosphere of our city. It so exciting to see God on the move, it is really an experience like no other. Many times in following the Lord it seems like stuff is moving really slow, because God does not operate on our time. But there are those times when things are in a rapid shift, even to rapidly. This is how I have felt over the last couple of months, like the ground is changing under my feet and really fast, it feels like it has been hard to get my footing. It’s great in so many ways, but scary in others.
Lately I have been really overcome with thankfulness over what the Lord has done in my life over the past 6 months. I look back at who I was and look at who I am and what I am doing now and I find it amazing. The Lord is so good and His mercy endures forever. There is none Like Him.
Since my last post I have begun getting involved in another prayer room called IHOP-Concord. It is a really great place to get away and meet with the Lord. They have established a really great foundation and vision for a house of prayer in this city. The leaders wish to see the body of Christ come together, take their place on the wall, and pray. Many people from different ministries and churches across the city are involved here. It is a blessing to see the body of Christ come together, even in its small beginnings. I am excited to see what the Lord is going to do with this ministry in the next couple of years and I will be giving more updates in the future about all how things are with this IHOP-Concord, God wants this city, and he wants his bride to come together in unity.
Until next time, keep watching, and keep waiting until the return of Jesus.

The past couple of weeks have been a little crazy for me personally. I am still becoming accustomed to college work. And am still working different capacities a the local church I am a part of.
I am really enjoying it and we are begging to start a harp & bowl prayer meeting on Wednesday nights. These are going really good and I believe they will become even more successful with time. I am so glad to be a part of a community of people who pray. It is truly an honor.
A couple of weeks ago it was announced that ZHOP-Charlotte will be closing. On October 17 2009 ZHOP will no longer be open. There is is going to be a prayer room there of some kind in Charlotte. But it will be a new model and style different from ZHOP.
This news has been extremely difficult for me as my heart is very much in ZHOP as a ministry. The majority of the staff will be moving back to IHOP-KC. It has been difficult for me to process through as I will miss ZHOP and all those that served there very much. But He is always in control.

But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. John 4:14, (NASB)
Upon have been pondering this reality quote a bit lately. Upon receiving Christ within in us (taking a drink from his water) we have a wellspring of life deposited in us. This is Gods Spirit (the Holy one) dwelling on the inside. As I have begun to search this passage out more and more I have become amazed at just how little I understand that Gods Spirit is dwelling in me. If we as believers in Christ understood this reality in even a portion. I believe that we would live dramatically different. Life wouldn’t just be about trying to effect those around us for the sake of the gospel, we couldn’t help but to.
There is a well springing up, drink in deep.

It’s been awhile since my last blog post, a little to long. Exactly a month actually. Things have been a little up in the air since being home. I have recently enrolled in the Web Technologies program at my local community college. That has been a real learning experience so far. Unfortunately it has not allowed for a great deal of extra time for blogging. I plan to try and schedule more time for updating watching and waiting though in the future.
Last weekend I attended the Holy Revolution conference at ZHOP. It was a great time with the Lord. God showed up every session. The line up of speakers was stacked! Kirk Bennett, Corey Russell, Greg Burnett, and Jake Hamilton. During the weekend the lord did many things in my heart as well many others that attended. God reminded me over the weekend of many things he had spoken to my heart in the past, which re focused a lot of my perspective. I came away refreshed and rejuvenated.

The duration of my internship here at ZHOP is coming to a close. It has been an incredible last three months. I am finishing up my last bit of internship stuff this week and will be graduating Sunday the 19th of July. It is so hard to put into words all that the Lord has done in this time, I have made memories, developed new friendships, gained in knowledge and understanding, but most importantly strengthened my relationship with Jesus. I am excited at what the Lord will do with me in this next season. But hope that maybe someday I can serve again at ZHOP long term, Lord willing.
I know in my heart that the journey is not ending……. it’s only beginning.
